Nunda River Lodge is in close proximity to two game parks, Mahango and the newly proclaimed Bwabwata, previously the Caprivi Game Park and Buffalo. Nunda River lodge is constructed on the banks of the Kavango River downstream from Popa Falls. The lodge consists of a restaurant, bar, lounge and reception area all under thatched roof, and a deck over the river where one can enjoy the sunset over the river. The sparkling pool is the largest of all the lodges in the area and is situated next to the river. The lodge consists out of 7 en-suite large double "luxury tented chalets" each with its own deck overlooking the river. The lodge can also accommodate the camping enthusiast with 8 grassed camping sites and one overland site with a "cook shack". All campsites are on or close to the river and have a braai area, bench, light and plug as well as a water tap. Activities at Nunda River Lodge include: game drives, boat trips, micro light flights, fishing and traditional village walks.
